The question came up at work today as to who "AD&D protection" were. Images of Amulets of Home Invasion +3 and LARPers camped under the stairs on guard from Orc trickery immediately came to mind. But then I decided it was kinda silly to expect a burglar to roll to see whether he smashed in your window or not and agreed that they probably just installed alarms.
Also, I spent the last 30 minutes of work pretty literally sleeping at my desk. I had the computer all set up, my hand on the mouse and a piece of paper in front of me so I think it looked like I was just squinting at something. Though after like 15 minutes I started to fall over and in my "OMFG I'M FALLING AND NOW I'M SUDDENLY AWAKE" panic I smacked the mouse into my keyboard pretty violently. I don't think anyone noticed though, they were probably busy with their own naps.
